    Notes:

    Jacob A. Glick, age 91 of Massillon, was surrounded by his family when he went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, November 9, 2016.
    He was born in Sugarcreek, Ohio on June 3, 1925 and was the son of the late Albert and Malinda (Mullet) Glick.
    He owned Jacob Glick Construction Company for over 65 years and built over 700 homes. He pastored at Sippo Valley Brethren in Christ Church and was an assistant pastor at Peniel Holiness Church. He and his wife traveled to many countries on mission projects.
    Jacob was a member of Calvary Holiness Church. He served the church faithfully in many ways.
    Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Glick, his sisters, Mattie Grabill and Esther Beegle and his brothers, Owen and Paul Glick.
    He is survived by his children, Lane (Lorena) Glick, LaVina McConkey, Wilma Cheatham, Loretta Edwards and Leon "Lee" (Lois) Glick, 20 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Also surviving are his sisters, Dena (Avery) Sollenburger and Ruth Anna (Chester) Musser and his brothers, Earl (Thelma), Daniel (Helen), Jim (Ruth) and Albert (Elaine) Glick.
    Funeral services will take place on Saturday, November 12th at 11:00 a.m. at Stanwood Community Church with his nephew, Rev. Dan Glick officiating. Burial will follow alongside his wife at Pleasant View Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Friday from 4-8 p.m. and on Saturday from 10-11 a.m. at the church.
    The family wishes to thank the staffs at Affinity Medical Center and Crossroads Hospice for the wonderful care given to their father.

    Notes:

    Dorothy Elizabeth Glick, age 89 of Massillon, went home to be with Jesus on Friday, February 14, 2014. She was carried to heaven by the angel band while surrounded by her loving family.
    Dorothy was born in Chambersburg, PA on July 6, 1924 and was the daughter of the late Arthur and Anna Mary (Knoll) Zook.
    Along with being a homemaker and raising her family, she worked with her husband Jacob for many years in the family's business. She was a member of Calvary Holiness Church in Apple Creek, Ohio where she taught Sunday School.
    Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Geraldine and her siblings, Ruth Fadenrecht, LeRoy Zook, Paul Zook, Mervin Zook and Verda Kipe.
    Dorothy is survived by her husband, Jacob Glick, whom she married on November 27, 1947, her children, Lane (Lorena) Glick, LaVina McConkey, Wilma Cheatham, Loretta Edwards and Leon "Lee" (Lois) Glick. Also surviving are her 18 grandchildren, 2 adopted grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, her brother Earl (Ruth) Zook and her sister Beulah (Cecil) Wiser.
    Funeral services will take place on Thursday at 11:00 A.M. at Pleasant View Mennonite Church with Pastor David Bennett officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5-8 P.M. and on Thursday one hour before the service at the church.
    The family wishes to thank the staff of Grace Hospice for the wonderful care extended to Dorothy and the family during her final days.
