    AMLI, Virginia C. 95 of Dayton, passed away at 6:00 am Friday, December 29, 2017 at the Kettering Medical Center. She was born March 13, 1922 to Frank and Clara (Fraker) Eschbach, in Paulding, Ohio who both preceded her in death. She is survived by one sister, Annabelle Ishmael of Virginia Beach; two children, Marcia (Bill) Linklater, and Dave Amli; two grandchildren, Amy (Scott) Burns and Bill Linklater; and three great grandchildren; Isaac Burns, Colton Burns and Emma Burns. Two brothers, Robert and Lloyd Eschbach; and three sisters, Beatrice Allmandinger, Mary Jane Bebout, and Kathryn Yoder, also preceded her in death. Virginia graduated from Van Wert High School in 1941 and moved to Dayton to work at WPAFB. She met her husband, Harold who was an engineer at the base and married on April 28, 1945. They were married for over 60 years and he preceded her in death in 2006. Virginia was a member of Rolling Hills Garden Club for over 50 years, National T.T.T. Society, and Christ United Methodist Church for over 60 years whereby she utilized her many creative abilities to help raise money for church mission programs. The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, January 25 from 12:00-1:30pm followed with a service at 1:30 pm officiated by Lay Minister, Nancy Byrd, Christ United Methodist Church at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME Far Hills Chapel. Entombment will follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
