Mrs. Bauer was born August 4, 1946 in Huntington, Indiana to Harold Joseph and Eileen Chapin Ehler. Her parents preceded her in death. Mrs. Bauer married Ronald D. Bauer on April 22, 1967 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Huntington, IN. He preceded her in death on August 29, 2006. Susan was a graduate of Huntington Catholic High School, Class of 1964. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Mrs. Bauer was a homemaker and a retired employee of Huntington Nursery. Survivors include: Two daughters: Tina M. and husband Rod Feller, Huntington and April R. Bauer-Baker, Huntington, IN. Two brothers: Timothy J. and wife Linda Ehler and Thomas P. Jeannetta Jean Bauer was born on August 1, 1923 in Greenwood, IN to Phillip Henry and Jennie Pearl Perkins Possman. Her parents preceded her in death. Mrs. Bauer married Donald J. Bauer on December 1, 1945 at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Huntington, IN. He preceded her in death on January 10, 1989. Mrs. Bauer was a housewife. She was a member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Huntington, IN the Rosary Sodality, Daughters of Isabella and the VFW Auxiliary.
    Survivors include one son Richard (Robin) Bauer, Huntington, IN; daughter-in-law, Ann Bauer-Myers; 10 grandchildren - Tina Feller, April Bauer, Fawn White, Jeremy Bauer, Tammy Meinert, Trina Kramer, Doug Kramer, Kelsey Bauer, D.J. Bauer, and Jennifer Vigar. Mrs. Bauer is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
    Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two sons, Stanley Kent Bauer, Ronald Dean Bauer; one daughter, Donna Jean Bauer Hice; one daughter-in-law, Susan Bauer; two brothers, Phillip Possman, Charles Possman; and one great grandchild. Calling hours will be on Tuesday, June 18, 2013, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street Huntington, IN. Additional calling hours will be held at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 860 Cherry Street, Huntington, IN prior to Mass from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 19, 2013.
