    GAIL F. MEYER, 81, died Saturday, Dec. 20, 2003, at St. Anne Home. Born and raised in Whitley County, he was a veteran of World War II. He was Transportation Manager for Phelps Dodge before becoming owner of Suelzer Moving and Storage. He was past president of the F.W. Transportation Club and lifelong member of St. Jude Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his wife and friend, Marcella "Marty" in 1996, brothers, Gerald "Bud" and Mark, and sister, Eileen Fahl. Survivors include sons, Ken Meyer of Portsmouth, Va. and Mark (Connie) Meyer; daughters, Monya (Denny) Weissert and Gayle (Steve) Waldman, all of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Matthew (Amy) and Molly Weissert, Jamie, Shawna and Emma Meyer, Kyle and Kayla Waldman; and great-grandchild, Madelyn Weissert; sister, Joyce (Gerald) Martin of Decatur; and in-laws, Huey (Betty) Boyle of Fort Wayne, and Lola (Duane) Wood of Columbia City; and 16 nieces and nephews. Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, with calling one hour prior, at St. Jude Catholic Church. Visitation is also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, with a Vigil service at 4 p.m. Preferred memorials to St. Jude Catholic Church or hospice Home of Northeast Indiana.Published in Fort Wayne Newspapers on Dec. 22, 2003
