    • Julie Weldy, 46, of Bremen passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at her residence. She was born April 6, 1964 in Elkhart to Earl & Rose (Batts) Plake. She married Tracy Weldy on October 19, 1985, he survives.

      Julie graduated from Concord High School in 1982, was a caregiver, loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, taking walks and her ALS Support Group in Warsaw.

      Survivors include husband Tracy Weldy of Bremen, 2 daughters: Crystal (Clint) Dennie of Bourbon and Stephanie Weldy of Bremen, grandson Maddox, mother Rose Plake of Warsaw, father Earl (Ruth) Plake of Wakarusa, brother Keith (Susie) Plake of Pierceton, 2 sisters: Marsha Russell of Greenville, KY and Becky Tyson of Warsaw.

      She was preceded in death by one brother.

      Funeral service will be held at 2PM on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at the Bremen United Methodist Church and will be officiated by Pastor Kevin Miller. Burial will follow at the Bremen Cemetery.

      Friends may call from 10:00AM on Saturday until the time of service at the church.

      In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the ALS Guardian Angels.
