    • Betty L. Coffin, 84, of Terre Haute passed away Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2011, at 11:40 p.m. in Exceptional Living Center in Brazil. She was a retired Unit Manager for Reuben H. Donnelley. Betty was born March 14, 1926 in Riley, Ind. to Clarence E. Trout and Trellah P. (Jeffres) Trout.. She is survived by two sons: Jeffrey Alan Coffin and his wife Teresa of Bloomfield and Charles R. Coffin Jr. of Riley and a daughter: Tracey L. Akers and her husband Steve of Brazil; six grandchildren: Michelle L. Feutz, Christina R. Coffin, Stephanie L. Coffin, Lyndsey J. Coffin, Jill A. Coffin, and Charlie Coffin; and two great-grandchildren, Kendyl R. Feutz and Joelie A. Feutz.. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles R. Coffin Sr., who passed away Aug. 5, 2010; and a sister, Doris Mantsch.. She was a member of the Lawton-Byrum Post 972 VFW Ladies Auxiliary, the Lost Creek Senior Citizens and Thousand Trails.. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 21, 2011, in Callahan-DeBaun Funeral Home, 2425 Wabash Ave. and again from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011. Funeral services are 3 p.m. Saturday Jan. 22, 2011, in the funeral home with Pastor Brent Meyer officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery..
