    • Myrtle May Minehart was born near Newville, Pennsylvania, on February 21, 1870, and died July 27, 1935.

      Her maiden name was Hartzell. Her parents died when she was quite young and she made her home with a brother and later came to Chambersburg to live with an aunt, Mrs. Rachel Bender.

      She attended Wilson College for a short time.

      She was married to Thomas Z. Minehart, February 21, 1895, and united with the First Lutheran Church by certificate of membership from the Central Presbyterian Church on April 18, 1897, and from that time was a consistent member of the church and the Willing Workers Sunday School Class. She took active part in all of its activities.

      She was buried in Pleasant Hall Cemetery.
