Douglas W. Buzzard, 53, of Huntington, IN, died Aug. 16, 2016, at 5:51 p.m. in Allen County, IN. Mr. Buzzard was a 1981 graduate of Huntington North High School. He was a truck driver for Schenkel’s, Super Value and currently First Fleet. He was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Huntington. He was born Nov. 25, 1962, in Huntington to Morris F. and Jean Ann Stoltz Buzzard. His mother survives in Huntington. Additional survivors include a son, Chad (Kourtney Cartwright) Buzzard, of Fort Wayne; two daughters, Natalie (Stephen Moon) Buzzard, of Georgetown, and Amanda Buzzard, of Wabash; three brothers, David (Connie) Buzzard, of Huntington; Daniel Buzzard, of Fishers; and Duane Buzzard, of Fort Wayne; five sisters, Diane Stone, of Andrews; Donna Jo (Michael) Oden and Denice Drummond, both of Huntington; Dolores (Kenny) Schneider, of Newburgh; and Dawn Klingaman, of Ligonier; two grandchildren, Liam Losher and Briella Moon; and a companion, Margaret Barry, of Huntington. Calling is Friday, Aug. 19, 2016, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington. Additional calling hours will be held on Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., with Mass following at 10 a.m., at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 860 Cherry St., Huntington. Rev. Ron Rieder, OFM Cap, will preside. Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Huntington. Memorials are to the children of Douglas Buzzard to help defray costs, in care of McElhaney–Hart Funeral Home.
