    • Marie Ann Zahm, 81, of Huntington, IN, died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2018, at 1:46 a.m. at her residence.
      Mrs. Zahm was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Huntington. She was also a member of Delta Theta Tau Sorority, Daughters of Isabella and the National Catholic Society of Foresters.
      She was born Jan. 29, 1937, in Fort Wayne to Robert Leo and Genevieve Ternet Vachon. She married John William Zahm on Aug. 28, 1954, in New Haven and he survives.

      Additional survivors include four sons, John W. (Linda) Zahm II, of New Haven; Eric N. (Kelly) Zahm and Philip S. (Lisa) Zahm, both of Huntington; and Mark A. (Jodi) Zahm, of Roanoke; four daughters, Leslie R. (Steven) Doty, of Anderson; and Christine M. (Rick) Haskett, Lisa F. Zahm and Denise E. Zahm, all of Huntington; a daughter-in-law, Susan Zahm; two sisters, Mary C. Miller, of Fort Wayne, and Genevieve L. Orr, of New Haven; 24 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
      She was also preceded in death by a son, Robert B. Zahm.
      Calling is Monday, Oct. 1, 2018, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington, with a recitation of the Rosary at 6 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2018, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 903 N. Jefferson St., Huntington, with calling held one hour prior to the service. Rev. Stephen Colchin will preside. Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Huntington.
      Memorials are to Masses at St. Mary Catholic Church, in care of McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington, IN 46750.
