    Darrell D. Coffin, 91, of Terre Haute passed away on Monday, May 9, 2016. He was born July 13, 1924 in Danville, IN to Clifford Coffin, Sr. and Ethel Sallee Coffin. Darrell was co-owner and operator of Sycamore Bowl along with his loving wife of 60 years, Dorothy R. Favre Coffin, who preceded him in death in 2007. They both retired in 1990. Survivors include two daughters, Cindy Smith and her husband Robert of Bath, OH and Linda Hudson and her financé Gary Fowler of Terre Haute; a grandson, Bryan Hudson and his financée Audrey Fisher; a brother, Clifford Coffin, Jr. and his wife Nada; a sister, Mary Mattox; a brother-in-law, Danny Favre and his wife Shirley; and many nieces and nephews. Darrell was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Charles Coffin and his wife Betty; and a sister, Polly Crawford. Darrell served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a member of Lawton Byron V.F.W. Post # 972. He loved attending his annual ship reunions, bowling, camping and tending his vegetable garden. Private services are scheduled for a later date with military rites by Lawton Byron V.F.W. Post #972. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. No visitation is scheduled. Arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 S. 25th Street.     He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Pauline Crawford; brothers, Darrell Coffin and Charles Coffin.
    He is survived by a sister, Mary A Mattox; and several nieces and nephews. Clifford was a US Navy veteran, serving aboard the U.S.S. Kearsarge, a member of Lawton-Byrum Post 972 Veterans of Foreign Wars. He married Nada L Collins in June of 1952.
    Nada Coffin, 85, of Terre Haute, passed away Oct. 22, 2017, at Exceptional living Center Memory Care of Brazil. She was born to George and Zada (Fields) Collins on Jan. 16, 1932.
    She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Clifford E Coffin; her parents; a brother, Lloyd Eldridge; two sisters, Mable Eldridge and Frances Fulford.
    She is survived by nieces and nephews.
    Visitation for both will be Thursday, Oct. 26, 2017, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., with services immediately following at Samaritan Funeral Home, 2425 Wabash Ave. Private burial is scheduled at a later date in Hull Cemetery. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, son and grandfather.. Terry graduated from Lebanon Sr. High School. He worked at Shumate/Reynolds and Reynolds Business Forms in Lebanon before moving to Spring Hill, Fla., where he worked for Hernando School System as Custodial Supervisor. He was a member of the Northcliffe Baptist Church.. He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd O Galvin, and a granddaughter, Autumn Galvin.. He is survived by his wife, Diana (Clouser) Galvin of Spring Hill; son, Joshua (fiancé, Lesa Zaikowski) Galvin; granddaughter, Emilee Galvin of Temple, Ga.; his mother, Deloris Galvin of Lebanon and Spring Hill; sister, Marcia (Ralph) Blair of Lebanon; brother, Reggie (Helen) Galvin of Indianapolis; father- and mother-in-law, Jack and Carol Clouser of Lebanon; Brutus, his beloved dog; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.. He and Diana enjoyed attending car shows, traveling and cruises to the Caribbean. He loved his extensive collection of model tractors and model railroads. He also loved farming, cruising in his red Camaro convertible and watching the beautiful sunsets in Florida.. Special thanks to Dr. Rao, Dr. Kumar, Dr. Denner and the Moffitt Cancer Center. Special thanks to Jerry and Rhonda Maines and John and Eileen Gribbins, for all their support and help.. A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Sunday at the Thorntown United Methodist Church, 201 N.
