Survivors include husband of 58 years, George L. Bero of Fort Wayne; daughters, Nancy L. (Richard) Till, and Ellen C. Bero both of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Christopher (Alissa) Till and Jennifer (Jason) Dennington; great-grandchildren, Joshua and Abigail Dennington; step-great-grandchild, Evan Cochran; brothers, Robert J. Fenker, Richard (Sharon) Fenker both of Fort Wayne, Joseph J. (Mary) Fenker of Wolcottville, and James S. (Diana) Fenker of Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jeanne M. Bero, son, James P. Bero, and sister, Carol M. Fenker. Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1020 Capitol Ave. with calling one hour prior. Fr. Tom Shoemaker and Fr. Thomas Lamping officiating. Calling is also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at D.O. McComb & Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Ave with vigil at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday. Burial in Catholic Cemetery. Memorials to St. Anne Home or Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

    Richard E. Fenker, 83, passed away Monday, December 3, 2012 at Kindred Care in Fort Wayne. He was born in Fort Wayne, the son of Joseph S. Fenker and Armella (Nix) Fenker and lived in Fort Wayne most of his life. He retired from Irmscher and Sons where he was employed as a construction superintendent for 44 years. During several of these years he also taught the Joint Carpenter Apprenticeship classes at Anthis Career Center for the Associated Building Contractors and Local 232. He was a Korean War Army Veteran. He was a member of the American Legion Post 82 and a member of their swim club. He was a longtime member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, the Holy Name Society at St. Charles and Knights of Columbus Council 432. Surviving are his wife, Sharon Fenker, daughters; Michelle M. Fenker, Elizabeth A. (Richard) Pusti, both of Fort Wayne, sons, Michael A. (Michele) Fenker of New Castle, Phillip G. (Rebecca) Fenker, Andrew S. (Shannon) Fenker both of Fort Wayne, 10 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, brothers, James (Diane) of Fort Wayne, and Joseph of Wolcottville. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Jane Bero, Carol Fenker, and brother Robert J. Fenker. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 am Friday, December 7, 2012 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with calling one hour prior, Msgr John N. Suelzer officiating. Calling is Thursday, December 6, 2012 at D. O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road 2:30 pm - 8:00 pm with a rosary service at 2:30pm. Burial in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Memorials may be made to the Wells County Alzheimer's Caregiver Support Group, St. Charles Tuition Assistance Fund or Masses.     James S. Fenker, 78, passed away Monday, August 18, 2014. Born in Fort Wayne, James was a retired sheet metal journeyman with Local 20. He was a member of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, and was a Korean War Navy veteran. James enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, archery, and carpentry. He was a devoted and prayerful man that loved God and family. James and his wife lead a weekly prayer cenacle for 23 years. Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Diana Fenker of Fort Wayne; children, Jeffrey (Lucinda) Fenker of Fort Wayne, Connie (Rick) Stout of Huntertown, Gregory Fenker of Fort Wayne, and Stacie (Scott) Kreiger of Fort Wayne; brother, Joseph Fenker of Wolcottville; 12 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. James was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Armella Fenker; brothers, Robert and Richard Fenker; and sisters, Carol Fenker and Jane Bero. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 am Friday at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, 1502 E. Wallen Rd. with calling 1 hour prior. Calling also 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm Thursday at D.O.
