Bauer on December 1, 1945 at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Huntington, IN. He preceded her in death on January 10, 1989. Mrs. Bauer was a housewife. She was a member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Huntington, IN the Rosary Sodality, Daughters of Isabella and the VFW Auxiliary.
    Survivors include one son Richard (Robin) Bauer, Huntington, IN; daughter-in-law, Ann Bauer-Myers; 10 grandchildren - Tina Feller, April Bauer, Fawn White, Jeremy Bauer, Tammy Meinert, Trina Kramer, Doug Kramer, Kelsey Bauer, D.J. Bauer, and Jennifer Vigar. Mrs. Bauer is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
    Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two sons, Stanley Kent Bauer, Ronald Dean Bauer; one daughter, Donna Jean Bauer Hice; one daughter-in-law, Susan Bauer; two brothers, Phillip Possman, Charles Possman; and one great grandchild. Calling hours will be on Tuesday, June 18, 2013, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street Huntington, IN. Additional calling hours will be held at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 860 Cherry Street, Huntington, IN prior to Mass from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 19, 2013. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 860 Cherry Street, Huntington, IN on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 with Father Ron Rieder, OFM Cap officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Huntington, IN.
