    Shane Martin Eastridge, 24, English, died Saturday, Sept. 21, 2008 in Salem.

    Born Sept. 23, 1983, in Paoli, he was the son of Marty and Cathy Lumley Eastridge of English.

    He served in the Navy and was employed by Waupaca Foundry in Tell City.

    He was preceded in death by two grandparents, George F. Lumley Jr. and Reva Eastridge.

    Survivors besides his parents include a brother, Travis Eastridge of Mitchell; four sisters, Holly Arkels and Lora Nickelson, both of Marengo, Lydia Copelin of Depauw and Natasha Eastridge of English; and two grandparents, Pete Eastridge of English and Martha Lumley of Hardinsburg.

    Visitation: Tuesday, Sept. 23, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, Sept. 24, after 9 a.m. at Denbo Funeral Home in English.

    Funeral: Wednesday, Sept. 24, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home followed by burial in Riddle Cemetery.

    Officiant: George Key.

    The family suggests memorial gifts to the Crawford County Hunter Youth Education program, in care of Holly Arkels; Fellowship of Christian Cowboys - Bless the Children Fund; or the Wesley Humphrey Memorial Fund.
