    • Jacob A. Glick, age 91 of Massillon, was surrounded by his family when he went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, November 9, 2016.
      He was born in Sugarcreek, Ohio on June 3, 1925 and was the son of the late Albert and Malinda (Mullet) Glick.
      He owned Jacob Glick Construction Company for over 65 years and built over 700 homes. He pastored at Sippo Valley Brethren in Christ Church and was an assistant pastor at Peniel Holiness Church. He and his wife traveled to many countries on mission projects.
      Jacob was a member of Calvary Holiness Church. He served the church faithfully in many ways.
      Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Glick, his sisters, Mattie Grabill and Esther Beegle and his brothers, Owen and Paul Glick.
      He is survived by his children, Lane (Lorena) Glick, LaVina McConkey, Wilma Cheatham, Loretta Edwards and Leon "Lee" (Lois) Glick, 20 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Also surviving are his sisters, Dena (Avery) Sollenburger and Ruth Anna (Chester) Musser and his brothers, Earl (Thelma), Daniel (Helen), Jim (Ruth) and Albert (Elaine) Glick.
      Funeral services will take place on Saturday, November 12th at 11:00 a.m. at Stanwood Community Church with his nephew, Rev. Dan Glick officiating. Burial will follow alongside his wife at Pleasant View Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Friday from 4-8 p.m. and on Saturday from 10-11 a.m. at the church.
      The family wishes to thank the staffs at Affinity Medical Center and Crossroads Hospice for the wonderful care given to their father.
