    • STRINESTOWN Esther L. Fitzgerald, age 91, died at 4:55 p.m. Monday, January 21, 2013 at Pleasant View Retirement Community in Manheim, where she had resided for the past six years. She was the wife of the late Thomas M. Fitzgerald. Born April 11, 1921, a daughter of the late Carroll E. and Estella L. (Ensminger) Reynolds, she was a 1939 graduate of North York High School and had attended Millersville State Teachers College. She was an Elementary teacher for Christian School of York, and later had retired from Drovers Bank. She was a member of Strinestown United Brethren in Christ Church and had attended Fishing Creek Salem United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Farm Women Association, the Red Hat Society and the Christian Women's Club. Mrs. Fitzgerald is survived by her daughter, Patricia A. Stacey, and her husband James, of Lewisberry; a niece, Sandy Gingerich of Mount Wolf; and a nephew, Douglas Klinefelter of Stevens. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at Fishing Creek Salem United Methodist Church, 402 Valley Road, Etters, with The Rev. Dr. Debbie Heisley-Cato and The Rev. Paul Baughman, officiating. Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Burial will be in Strinestown Cemetery. William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 60 S. Main St., Manchester, is in charge of arrangements.
