- Thomas A. Eisenhauer, Sr., 83, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2020, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, IN.
Mr. Eisenhauer was born on January 8, 1936, to Lawrence and Magdalen (Baker) Eisenhauer in Huntington, IN. His parents preceded him in death. Mr. Eisenhauer married Barbara Walker on April 12, 1958. She survives and resides in Huntington.
Tom graduated from Huntington Catholic High School in 1954. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Huntington, IN, and a third degree member of the Knights of Columbus. Tom was employed as a printer at Noll Printing, Huntington, IN, for 40 years and Mignone Communications Inc., for 5 years, before retiring.
Along with his wife, Barbara he is survived by one daughter, Elizabeth “Beth (Robert) Lusch, Huntington, IN ; two sons, Christopher (Lynette) Eisenhauer, Fort Wayne, IN, Thomas (Teresa) Eisenhauer, Huntington, IN; and a daughter-in-law, Renee Eisenhauer, Andrews, IN; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchild.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Joseph E. Eisenhauer, an infant child and one sister, Alice Miller.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, January 6, 2020, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with recitation of the Rosary at 1:45 p.m.at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN 46750.
Additional calling will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2020, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the church prior to Mass.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 903 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN, with Father Stephen Colchin presiding.
Burial will be at a later date at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Huntington, IN.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to St. Mary Catholic Church, Masses or Alzhiemer’s Association all in care of McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN 46750.
