Paul enjoyed singing in the church choir for many years, was a master at Trivial Pursuit, and loved his family and friends. Surviving are his brother, Edward (Sheila) Welling of Fort Wayne; sisters, Mary Ann Welling of West Union, Ohio, Jane (Jerry) Relue and Lois (Ronald) Busch, both of Fort Wayne; six nieces and nephews; five great nieces and great nephews; and several college friends from Saint Francis. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Leonilla Welling. Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Saturday, July 13, 2013, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 12, 2013, at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave. Burial in Hoverstock Cemetery, Zanesville, Ind.
