Hilda was the perfect pie maker and loved to cook for her family. She was an avid fan of Notre Dame Football, Dayton Flyer Basketball and Indiana Hoosiers sports teams. Hilda was an active supporter and volunteer of the Mad River PeeWee Football Association. She spent many hours riding her bicycle throughout the Valley Platt for years.
The joy and love of her life was watching and caring for her kids, grandkids, great-grandkids and the neighborhood kids. She always put herself last when it came to her giving heart being unselfish at all times. Hilda's biggest thrill came with watching her grandkids participate in any of their activities. She was their biggest fan and supporter. Hilda was an avid Tom Jones and Neil Diamond fan, having attended their concerts. She was always trying to help her family, even in her death, she is still helping, giving and teaching them.
A Celebration of Life for friends will be held on October 24, 2015 from 1-3 PM at Diana and Doug Fugate's residence. For further information please contact a member of the Norris/Fugate Family.
In lieu of flowers, Hilda's request was for donations be made to St. Peter and Paul's Catholic Church in Huntington, IN.
