    • HAROLD H. KAMMEYER, 84, of Woodburn, died Sunday, July 4, 2010, at home. He was the son of the late Fred and Laurena Kam-meyer. He was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Harlan. He was a lifelong farmer and retired from Zollner Corp after 28 years of service, in 1987. He is survived by his wife, Joyce; children, Mary Ann Morgan of Indianapolis, Donald (Sandy) Kammeyer of Woodburn, Karen (Mark) Slezewick of Indianapolis, John (Deb) Kammeyer of Silver Lake, Sharon Carey of Albion, and Larry (Wendy) Kammeyer of Palm Bay, Fla.; stepchildren, Anthony (Kathy) Hetrick and Allen Hetrick, both of Leo, and Julie (Kenneth) Johnson of Fort Wayne; sisters, Eleanor Gerbers of New Haven and Esther (Paul) Goeglein of Woodburn; 17 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Joann Herndon Kammeyer, in 1995; and brothers, Fred, Melvin, and Clarence Kammeyer. Service is 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 18330 St. Rd. 37, Harlan, with calling one hour prior. The Rev. Joe Adams officiating. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Burial in Christ Lutheran Cemetery, Woodburn.
