DORMAN E. NIX, 81, of Fort Wayne, died Saturday, Jan. 28, 2006, 10:10 p.m., at Lutheran Hospital. Born in Fort Wayne, he was employed by Navistar International Corporation for over 20 years, as a line setter, retiring in 1983. He was a Marine Veteran, World War II. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and American Legion Post 82. Survived by his wife, Joann M.; brothers, Donald Nix of Florida and James Nix of Columbia City; and sisters, Pat Hardisty of Florida and Cheryl Harber of Fort Wayne. He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Warner. Mass of Christian Burial is 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with calling one hour prior to Mass. Calling is also from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Tom Mungoval Funeral Home, with Wake Service at 6 p.m. Tuesday. Burial at Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
