    • Dorothy May Howard, 92, of West Haven CT, and formerly of Huntington, IN, died Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012, at Apple Rehab in West Haven, CT.
      Mrs. Howard was retired from Our Sunday Visitor.
      She was born Nov. 28, 1919, in Huntington to Rudolph and Dorothy Karst Meyer. She married Robert L. Howard on Feb. 14, 1942, and he preceded her in death in 1974.
      Surviving are two daughters, Saundra Kay McCauley, of West Haven, CT, and Martha S. Wonder, of Bloomington; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
      Calling is Monday, Jan. 23, 2012, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, Jan., 24, 2012, at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 860 Cherry St. Huntington, with Rev. Ron Rieder pesiding. Burial will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Huntington.
      Preferred memorials are to Apple Rehab, 308 Savin Ave., West Haven, CT. 06516, or Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd., Bradford, CT 06405.
