Club and the AARP of Dubois County shere he served as a past president. Born on October 6, 1926 at Fort Wayne, Indiana. Parents; Louis and Anna
(Vargo) Papai. Married to Corinne M. Hilgeman on November 5, 1948 at
St. John the Baptgist Catholic Church at Fort Wayne, Indiana by Bishop
Pursley of the Fort Wayne Dioceses - she preceded him in death on January
4, 1997.
Surviving are 1 daughter;

Funeral services for Richrd M. Papai will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday
(July 26, 2003) in St. Peter Celestine Catholic Church with burial to follow
in St. Peter Celestine Cemetery. St. Anthony American Legion Post # 493
will conduct Military Grave Side Rites.
Friends may call from 2- 8 p.m. Friday at the Becher - Kluesner Downtown
Chapel in Jasper.
Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Friday by members of St. Peter Celestine
Catholic Church.
