She was born February 8, 1931 in Dubois, Indiana and was a Hobart resident since 1943. She graduated in 1949 from William A. Wirt High School. Her entire life was dedicated to caring for her family. She is survived by her husband, John E. Jackson of Hobart, IN; 2 children, Mark (Patti) Jackson of Cross Plains, WI; Thomas E. (Cathy) Jackson of Hobart, IN; 1 brother, Charles (Hazel) Knies of Preston, WI; and 3 beloved grandchildren, Andrew John, Sean Tyler, and Sara Rose Jackson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Pearl Knies, 5 brothers, Ves, Paul, Ralph, Cletus, and Bob Knies and 1 sister, Helen Arden. Cremation will take place at Kelly-Carroll Crematory.
