    • Marjorie H.(Marge) Meyer, 94, Huntington, IN, passed away at 9:40 a.m. at Heritage of Huntington.

      Mrs. Meyer was born April 12, 1919 to Henry and Lena Gelzleichter Scher in Huntington, Indiana. Her parents preceded her in death.

      Marge married Alfred Meyer on November 30, 1940 in Huntington, IN. He preceded her in death on September 10, 1996. Marge was a homemaker in Clear Creek Township. She was also a member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, the Rosary Sodality, and Widows of Prayer.

      Survivors include: four sons, Ronald (Pauline) Meyer, North Manchester, IN; Robert (Kay) Meyer, Three Rivers, MI; Gary (Emily) Meyer, Huntington, IN; and Dan (Marinda) Meyer, Huntington, IN; three daughters, Carol (James) Krumanaker, Huntington, IN; Marla (Kenneth) Johnson, Huntington, IN; and Kathy (Mark) Beckman, Auburn, IN; two brothers: Eugene Scher, and Richard (Margaret) Scher, both of Huntington, IN; 20 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren: and five great-great-grandchildren. Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers, George Scher, Earl Scher, Delbert Scher, and Robert Scher; and four sisters, Sr. Josephine Scher, Sue Pfister, Dorothy Stoltz, and Kathleen Hesting.

      Calling hours will be Thursday, November 21, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN. Rosary recitation will be Thursday, November 21, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN. Funeral Service will be Friday, November 22, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church 860 Cherry St., Huntington, IN.

      Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Huntington, IN.
