    • Charles E. Naylor, 91, entered into rest at 5:15 a.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at York Hospital. He was the loving husband of Lois E. (Erney) Naylor. The couple celebrated 68 years of marriage on June 19, 2016.
      Born November 17, 1925 in York, Charles was a son of the late Franklin Theodore Naylor.
      He was a U.S. Navy veteran who served during World War II. Charles worked for Stine's Brake Shop in York for 20 years as a brake specialist.
      He enjoyed Sprint car racing, Indy car racing and NASCAR.
      In addition to his wife, Charles is survived by two daughters, Elaine N. Corwin of Kona, Hawaii and Cathy E. Barck of Dover; three sons, Edward E. Naylor of Dover, Scott A. Naylor of Red Lion and Elliot M. Naylor of Dover; eleven grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son, Steve A. Naylor; a grandson; and several brothers and sisters.
      Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Emig Funeral Home, Dover, is serving his family.
