    • Dateline Jasper: Catherine “Katie” Krodel age 78 of Jasper passed away at 8:30 A.M. Sunday November 9, 2008 at Jasper Memorial Hospital. She was born February 9, 1930 at Earl Park IN. to Fred and Otillia (Sondgerath) Klinker
      She married William J. Krodel January 12, 1952. He passed away April 29, 1997. Memberships include: Jasper Memorial Hospital Aux., Jasper Memorial Hospital Volunteer, and Jasper Memorial Hospital Volunteer Board member, American Legion Aux., Dubois County Historical Society, Precious Blood Catholic church, Instrumental at Precious Blood Church in making quilts, Precious Blood Church Ladies Sodality, Tri Kappa, and she received the Brute award in 2008. Surviving: 2 sons Dan Krodel of Speedway IN., and Tom Krodel of Jasper.
      1 daughter- Mrs. Mike (Donna) Oeding of Jasper.

      Preceded in death by 1 Grandson-Christopher and 1 brother-Fred Klinker Visitation will be held from 1:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Becher & Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper. Parish Rosary at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday November 13, 2008 at Precious Blood Catholic Church in Jasper with entombment to follow at Fairview Cemetery Mausoleum in Jasper. Memorial contributions may be made to; Dubois County Community Foundation, Precious Blood Catholic Church or Jasper Memorial Hospital
