    • NIX, DONALD LEE, 79, of Ocoee, passed away February 13, 2006. He was born on May 31, 1926 in Ft. Wayne, IN, the son of Leo Joseph and Magdelan Hayes Nix. Mr. Nix was a Service Superintendent for Winn Dixie, retiring in 1991. He was of the Catholic faith, a Navy veteran of WWII, and a member of V.F.W. Post 2093. Mr. Nix is survived by two daughters, Susan Cockcroft and Laurie Campbell, both of Ocoee; two sisters, Patricia Hardisty of Estero, FL and Cheryl Harbor of Ft. Wayne, IN; brother James Nix of Columbia City, IN; three granddaughters; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Nix was predeceased by a son, Jeffery Nix in March 1991, sister Mary Warner in June 2002, and brother, Dorman Nix in January 2006. Memorial contributions may be made to your local Humane Society.
