    • Larry David Jackson, 61 of Franklin died Friday, November 13, 2009 at Barton Stone Home in Jacksonville. He was born December 23, 1947 in Carrollton, the son of Harvey and Betty Eyer Jackson. He married Ruth Bernard May 23, 1992 and she survives.

      He is also survived by four sons; Larry (wife, Betty) Jackson, Jr. of Benld, Marvin Jackson of Beardstown, Timothy Jackson of Jacksonville, Mike (wife, Michelle) Jackson of Watertown NY; three daughters; Amanda Jackson of Franklin, Tonya Hoots of Jacksonville, Janet (husband, Edward) McGrew of Cedar Lake, IN; four brothers Denny Jackson of Jacksonville, Darrell (wife, Sherri) Jackson of Florida; Harvey Jackson, Jr. of Hettick, Clyde (wife, Margaret ) Jackson of TN.; three sisters, Diane (husband, Bob) Bettis of Modesto, Penny Jackson of Waverly, Michelle Axley of Clarksville, TN; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a brother, Omar; niece Abni; and great-grandchild Candace.

      David made his living as a truck driver. He was an avid outdoorsman.

      Services were entrusted to Neece-Airsman-Hires Funeral Home of Waverly, Illinois.
