    • Clifford E Coffin, 88, of Terre Haute passed away April 13, 2017, at Exceptional Living Center of Brazil. He retired from the Federal Prison System and Terre Haute Regional Hospital as a security guard. Clifford was born Nov. 30, 1928, to Clifford C. Coffin and Ethel (Sallee) Coffin.
      He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Pauline Crawford; brothers, Darrell Coffin and Charles Coffin.
      He is survived by a sister, Mary A Mattox; and several nieces and nephews. Clifford was a US Navy veteran, serving aboard the U.S.S. Kearsarge, a member of Lawton-Byrum Post 972 Veterans of Foreign Wars. He married Nada L Collins in June of 1952.
      Nada Coffin, 85, of Terre Haute, passed away Oct. 22, 2017, at Exceptional living Center Memory Care of Brazil. She was born to George and Zada (Fields) Collins on Jan. 16, 1932.
      She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Clifford E Coffin; her parents; a brother, Lloyd Eldridge; two sisters, Mable Eldridge and Frances Fulford.
      She is survived by nieces and nephews.
      Visitation for both will be Thursday, Oct. 26, 2017, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., with services immediately following at Samaritan Funeral Home, 2425 Wabash Ave. Private burial is scheduled at a later date in Hull Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please treat yourself to some Little Debbie Snack Cakes and Wendy's Chocolate Frosty's in memory of both of them. online condolences may be left at:
