      The people of this community were shocked Monday morning upon learning of the death of Robert Ramsey.
      Robert had not been well for some time and about a week ago he was taken to his bed, he was a patient little sufferer and never complained of his intense pain.
      School closed and his schoolmates and teacher all came to take their last look of one they all held so dear as he was loved by old and young.
      Robert was born near Stronghurst Ill., Oct. 14, 1900 and died at his home near Sargent Sept, 25, 1911. He was the only son of Ernest and Nora Ramsay and he came to Nebr., with his mother five years ago he was 10 years, 11 months and 11 days of age. His father preceded him to the better land Nov. 21, 1903. Besides his mother, 5 sisters, grandparents, two uncles, five aunts and other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Mayard of Sargent at the home Tuesday afternoon and the body was taken by the mother, grandfather and Mrs. George Rowe, Wednesday morning to Olena Ill., for burial beside his father.
