    • William Dale "Bill" Gish, 79, passed away following surgery in New York University Hospital on August 27, 2014.
      Bill was born in Harrisburg, PA on October 15, 1934. He was the son of the late Ralph H. and Ella (Coble) Gish. He was preceded in death by his brother Ralph H. Gish and his brother and sister-in-law Donald C. and Evelyn Gish.
      Bill's survivors include his sister-in-law Arlene Gish and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
      Bill moved to Hershey when he was three years old after the death of his father. After his mother's death, he attended the Milton Hershey School and graduated in 1953. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Cincinnati Conservatory of Music in1964, and served in the United States Air Force reserves. He moved to New York City in 1966 where he worked in radio, TV and the movie industry until his death. Bill provided the voice for many commercials and had acting parts on television and in movies. He was always willing to converse with people and to mentor others in the business.
      Family and friends were important to Bill and he always made the effort to visit, stay in touch, and attend reunions. He was loved by and will be missed by many people.
      A gathering for family and friends to celebrate Bill's life is being planned.
