      Retired Farmer & Businessman Dies Saturday

      William J. (Bill) Lankford, 74, Princeton, died Saturday at 11:20 p.m. at his home, after two weeks illness.

      Mr. Lankford, a retired farmer and businessman was born in Clay City, Ind., February 6, 1893. He had lived in Princeton 22 years moving here from Patoka.

      He is survived by his wife, Grace (Pickett); one daughter, Mrs. Paul Ellis of Hazleton and five grandchildren and several cousins.

      Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Kendall Funeral Home. Burial will be in White Church Cemetery.

      Mr. Lankford is at the Kendall Funeral Home where friends may call after 3 p.m. Monday.
