    • Pendleton, Ind. — E. Morris McFarland, 88, passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at his home. He was born July 12, 1922.

      He retired from Conrail after many years as a train engineer and served as Pastor of New Faith Fellowship Church in Pendleton.

      He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Joy; two daughters, Sheri L. McFarland and Iris S. Dixon (Marion); and a son, Thomas M. McFarland (Denice). He is also survived by six grandchildren, Stephanie Thompson, Thomas J. McFarland (Connie), Natalie A. Lancaster (Rick), Jennifer Day, Shannon Shetler (Jeff), and Christopher Dixon (Coleen); and fourteen great-grandchildren.

      He was preceded in death by his father, Ollie, and his mother, Faye; one brother; and three sisters.

      Funeral Service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, February 17, 2011 at Wilson Saint Pierre Funeral Services, 211 E State Street, Pendleton. Visitation is 12 noon until service time.
      Memorial contributions may be made to New Faith Fellowship Church, 110 West Central Way, Pendleton, Indiana 46064.
