    • Jane F. Bero, 80, died Thursday, February 02, 2006 at St Anne Home in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, she was a bookkeeper with Kaough Dist. Co. for 16 years, retiring in 1991. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, belonged to Southside Catholic Seniors and volunteered at St. Joseph Hospital. She loved to walk in Foster Park. Survivors include husband of 58 years, George L. Bero of Fort Wayne; daughters, Nancy L. (Richard) Till, and Ellen C. Bero both of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Christopher (Alissa) Till and Jennifer (Jason) Dennington; great-grandchildren, Joshua and Abigail Dennington; step-great-grandchild, Evan Cochran; brothers, Robert J. Fenker, Richard (Sharon) Fenker both of Fort Wayne, Joseph J. (Mary) Fenker of Wolcottville, and James S. (Diana) Fenker of Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jeanne M. Bero, son, James P. Bero, and sister, Carol M. Fenker. Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1020 Capitol Ave. with calling one hour prior. Fr. Tom Shoemaker and Fr. Thomas Lamping officiating. Calling is also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at D.O. McComb & Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Ave with vigil at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday. Burial in Catholic Cemetery. Memorials to St. Anne Home or Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
