    • John "Jack" L. Wise, 88, of Camp Hill passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at the Homeland Center in Harrisburg. Jack was preceded in death just 10 weeks ago by his loving wife and soul mate, Marian A. (Achenbach) Wise.
      Born on May 21, 1926, Jack was the son of Leslie G. and Helen H. (Thrush) Wise. He graduated from the former Highspire High School in 1944 and immediately joined the US Navy. Jack was a partner in business with his brother Ken operating Wise's Amoco in Highspire and later Wise Bros Trucking until retiring in 1991. Jack and Marian loved visiting with neighbors and friends at the Harrisburg East Mall and eating out at many local family restaurants.
      Jack is survived by his brother Ken and his wife Suzanne of Hummelstown along with 14 nieces and nephews. Graveside services, under the direction of K M Knight Funeral Home, for both Jack and Marian, will be held at the Highspire Cemetery on Thursday May 21, 2015 at 4:30pm.
